Boon is a joy with which to work - with a true partnership mentality and approach to life. He is a very natural dog on stock and required very little formal training to become valuable. He is gregarious, loyal, friendly and happy. Boon is a registered Therapy Dog and partners with me in that capacity with a superior attitude.

Shimmer is a self-assured, strong, fearless and somewhat pushy bitch that has never encountered a challenge she was not willing to over come. She is one of a few dogs that was able to move our llamas (they are typically quite challenging to work and they have little or no fear of a dog). But, she is also biddable and has a true desire to partner. She is friendly, almost to a fault, with any one she meets.

This cross will produce 50% rough (long/medium) coat and 50% smooth coat (statistical probability), black & white and tri-color puppies.

The pups should have excellent dispositions, with a good chance for a strong, bold personality paired with a great work ethic. Expect super intelligence, quick thinkers and ample creativity with sound bodies. This is a herding working bred litter and pups should be matched with owners who can provide leadership and ample "work" for the dogs, regardless of whether that involves livestock or other endeavors.

These puppies may go home on December 28, 2010. If you hoped to have a puppy for Christmas, we can create a video of your puppy when it is 6-7 weeks old and send you a DVD that you can give on Christmas Day. See this video as an example . POLICIES

Once a breeding has taken place, we will accept deposits on two male and two female puppies. Once the litter is born, we will receive deposits on the remainder of the litter.

Puppy pick order is based on the receipt date of deposit from approved applicants. Please submit an application if you are interested in acquiring a puppy from this litter. Application link is below.

Breeder reserves the right to participate in placement decisions to enhance the correct placement of puppy personality versus human life-style needs.

Breeder reserves the right to retain the first pick, either gender.

A $200 deposit is required to hold a puppy until it is ready to go home. This deposit is non-refundable unless a puppy of the gender specified is not available or a puppy becomes unavailable due to a health issue.
