Pete is a very talented dog. He is confident, capable and ready to work with almost no training. He has lots of style and great balance. Dogs with his level of natural ability are hard to find and a joy to train (all novice handlers should hope to have a first partner like Pete to teach them about herding). He always contains his stock, has a nice sense of pace making him a useful ranch partner with minimal training - just what I love in a dog. Pete is also a very calm, easy going dog in the house. |
