| School groups or individuals are welcome to participate in tours at DarnFar Ranch. | ||
| Advanced reservations are required. | ||
| An enjoyable sheep herding demonstration is typically part of the tour. | ||
| Bottle feeding baby lambs may be available at certain times of the year. | ||
| Tammie uses her extensive experience and calls upon her higher education to create a | ||
| enlightening and entertaining trip around the ranch. | ||
| Dedicated to the preservation of soil through exceptional pasture management, DarnFar ranch is | ||
| a good example of alternative farming options in Illinois. | ||
| Most of all, it's just Fun to get out to the country! | ||
| Tranquil and surrounded by nature, you'll always hear the sound of chirping birds. | ||
| The air is clean and fresh. Butterflies flit here and there in the summertime. | ||
| Great Blue Herons fish daily in the pond over which swallows perform aerial antics. | ||
| While visiting the ranch you'll feel you are far off the beaten path, yet you'll be just a few miles off Interstate 70. | ||
| Fee: $5.00 / person ($50 minimum for groups under 10). One free teacher / Chaperone per 20 kids. | ||
