Educational and Entertaining Excursions

School groups or individuals are welcome to participate in tours at DarnFar Ranch.
  Advanced reservations are required.
An enjoyable sheep herding demonstration is typically part of the tour.
Bottle feeding baby lambs may be available at certain times of the year.
Tammie uses her extensive experience and calls upon her higher education to create a
enlightening and entertaining trip around the ranch.
Dedicated to the preservation of soil through exceptional pasture management, DarnFar ranch is
a good example of alternative farming options in Illinois.
Most of all, it's just Fun to get out to the country!
Tranquil and surrounded by nature, you'll always hear the sound of chirping birds.
The air is clean and fresh.  Butterflies flit here and there in the summertime.
Great Blue Herons fish daily in the pond over which swallows perform aerial antics.

While visiting the ranch you'll feel you are far off the beaten path, yet you'll be  just a few miles off Interstate 70.

Fee:  $5.00 / person  ($50 minimum for groups under 10).  One free teacher / Chaperone per 20 kids.
