What Dogs Have Taught Me

I have been honored to share my life with many dogs. Each time I loose one, I am heart sick, but grateful for the special lesson that unique soul helped me to learn.

Here are some of the lessons my cherished pups have helped me learn:

	Trying hard is as important as achieving the goal
Macho
	Hanging out together is just as fun as earning pretty trophies
Stella
	Forgiveness is the greatest gift a friend can offer
Shamaron
	Run as fast as you can whenever you can just to feel the wind in your hair
Laddie
	Knowing true loyalty is both an honor and a wholly humbling experience

	Life is way too short.... it really is.

	Perfection is not as important as the heart with which one performs the job
Jaye
	Taking time to get to know someone in their later years is worth the effort
Beebe
	There is no better reason to be joyous than the mere fact that you exist

	Those qualities that one judges as weakness may, in fact, be a person's greatest strength
Breeze (his poem)
	There is always hope for a wayward, naughty pup to become a cherished and loved and ~~good~~ great dog.
